Brunei
Brunei Darussalam, located in Southeast Asia, managed to regain its freedom from the UK on 1st January, 1984. Brunei stands as the 3rd largest producer of oil in the region and the 4th largest liquefied natural gas producer in the world. Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant is used to liquefy roughly all of its natural gas and it is among the world's largest Liquefied Natural Gas plants. To encourage diverse economic activities, many industries are being promoted, such as construction, banking and tourism. Crops are produced and livestock are also raised. Main industries of Brunei include petroleum refining, petroleum, liquefied natural gas and construction. |
